Phase 2 of Return to Activity Begins April 11

More Sports.
More Athletes.
More Fun.

Special Olympics Southern California is pleased to announce that as of April 11, we will move to Phase 2 of our Sports & Programs Return to Activity Plan. The exact start date of Phase 2 activity for your program or team will be decided by coaches in coordination with the local SOSC office. Please contact your coach or local SOSC office to learn more about opportunities that are available to you.

In Phase 2, groups of up to 50 athletes and coaches may participate in sports training and competition in SOSC’s traditional Spring Sports: Athletics, Basketball, Bocce, Flag Football, and Swimming. Phase 2 allows for increased group sizes, the addition of indoor sports training, and athletes and teams can compete in small local one-day events. We will continue to offer Team Wellness and the virtual Health Lifestyle Challenge 2.0 with Coach Max.

The health and safety of athletes, volunteers, and employees continues to be our number one priority. We will monitor information from trusted health authorities and will adjust our plans as merited by that information. If new information emerges that would cause us to adjust the plan, we will do so and notify you immediately.

Please visit www.sosc.org/rta for additional information.

For athletes and coaches who are not ready to return to in-person activity, we will continue offering virtual events and activities. Learn more at www.sosc.org/hlc.
